What the cleaner brings, and what you should have

When you book, you choose whether the cleaner brings materials or uses yours. Both are normal, and the right answer depends on what is already in the cupboard.
If we bring them
A standard kit: vacuum, microfibre cloths, sponges, general and bathroom cleaners, a glass squeegee and gloves. It is the simpler option, and the one to pick for a first visit or a deep clean.
If you prefer your own
Many homes do, either because of a surface that needs a particular product — stone, treated wood, a coated hob — or because someone in the house reacts to strong scents. Leave what you want used out where it can be seen, and say which surface takes which.
What to have either way
A bucket, a working plug point near where the work is, and a ladder if anything high needs reaching. These are the three things whose absence actually shortens a visit.
