The wardrobe, twice a year

Two moments a year the wardrobe is half empty: when the warm clothes go in and when they come out. That is the moment to clean it, because every other day of the year it is full.

What the visit does

• Everything out, shelves and rails wiped, the back and the top reached.
• Clothes sorted by season and put back in an order that survives a month.
• What is worn out, outgrown or never worn put aside for you to decide on.

Why it is worth paying for

Not because it is difficult, but because it is the kind of job that takes an afternoon and never gets an afternoon. Booked as an add-on it takes an hour of somebody else's.
